Shreyas Iyer captain, entry of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Indian team announced

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced Team India for the tour of England and Ireland. Shreyas Iyer has been made the new captain of the T20 team. Suryakumar Yadav has not only lost his captaincy, but has also been removed from his team. 15 year old Vaibhav Suryavansi has entered the Indian team. Vaibhav has been selected in Team India for the first time. Apart from them, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Ravi Bishnoi and Prince Yadav have also got a place in the team.

Vaibhav was elected the youngest after Sachin

Vaibhav has been rewarded for his blockbuster performance in IPL. In this IPL season, he scored 776 runs in 15 innings at a strike rate of 237.30. Vaibhav won awards like Purple Cap, Most Valuable Player and Emerging Playoff of the Season. Now he has been selected in Team India. He has become the youngest player to be selected in the Indian men’s team after Sachin Tendulkar.

Team India will play a total of 7 T20 matches on the tour of Ireland and England in June-July. They will face Ireland in two T20 matches in Belfast on June 26 and 28. After this the team will go to England, where it will play a 5-match T20 series against the host team from July 1 to 11.
