New Delhi: Artificial intelligence company Anthropic has sparked fresh debate over the future of AI after warning that advanced systems could soon reach a stage where they improve themselves without direct human involvement. What Is Recursive Self-Improvement?
At the center of Anthropic’s warning is a concept known as “recursive self-improvement.” The idea refers to AI systems that can redesign, optimize and eventually build more advanced versions of themselves.
