When co-star started acting as per his wish

Priya Bapat told that after a lot of insistence from the director, she finally agreed to do this scene. She thought maybe she should break her inhibitions and agreed to just one kiss in the entire project. But the real trouble started after coming in front of the camera.

Narrating her ordeal, the actress said, “I did not expect what happened after the shooting of the scene started. During the shooting of the song, my co-star started improvising again and again and kept kissing me forcibly. At that time, I was so scared that I could not even raise my voice for myself, because I could not understand how to deal with this strange situation.”

Attempt to harass in hotel on the pretext of messages and dinner

The matter was not limited to just in front of the camera. Priya told that even after the shooting, the actor was not desisting from his actions. According to Priya, “Both of us were staying in the same hotel. Although our rooms were separate, he kept sending me messages continuously. Sometimes he would talk about teaching me swimming, and sometimes he would call me over on the pretext of dinner and breakfast. I used to refuse him every time, but he was not agreeing. Such an incident had never happened before in my entire career.”

Husband Umesh Kamat had to reach the shooting location

In this very stressful environment, Priya Bapat’s husband Umesh Kamat became the biggest support for her. Priya told that sitting in the hotel room, she used to talk to her husband Umesh on the phone every night and share the entire situation while crying. When the situation started getting worse, her husband left all the work and went to the shooting location himself and stayed with Priya for a few days. The co-star’s activities stopped only after Umesh arrived. Priya says that this was the only and most scary experience in her entire career.
