Protest by ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ (CJP) continues at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Hundreds of protesters led by founder Abhijit Deepke gathered at Jantar Mantar. Slogans are being raised against the government and there is ruckus at the spot. Police have arrested six people after the clash between two groups. Meanwhile, Abhijeet Deepke addressed the people. He told that my mother did not cry so much when I was going to America, she cried more when I was coming to my home i.e. India.

Abhijeet Deepke said, ‘When I was leaving for America, my mother was crying a little that my son was leaving. Who will stay with me now? I could understand that. But as much as my mother did not cry that day, she was crying that day when I was returning home. For the last two-three days, my mother and my sister were crying that if you go back, these people will put you in jail.

Deepke further said, ‘They were afraid of me coming back home. This is not my mother’s fear alone. Any child and youth in this country who speaks on politics will speak against the government. That day his mother was afraid that these people might put her son inside. How long will we live in such fear? Tell them that we are not going to be afraid of their politics of fear.

Both supporters and opponents of Cockroach Janata Party are engaged in Abhijit Deepke’s movement going on in Jantar Mantar. There is an atmosphere of tension at the protest site. Police have detained six people as a precautionary measure after a possible clash between two groups. Police officials say that this step has been taken to maintain law and order.

The protesters alleged irregularities in the recruitment examinations and demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Police have tightened the security of Jantar Mantar. Apart from this, more than 1000 soldiers have been deployed in New Delhi district. Police deployment has also been increased near the airport. Barricading has been done around the protest site, so that the protesters can be controlled.
