India-Latin America-Caribbean Business Investment Forum will be organized in Indore, Chief Minister will participate

With the aim of providing a new global direction to the industrial development and investment efforts of the Madhya Pradesh government, the India-Latin America and Caribbean Trade and Investment Forum is being organized on Saturday at Radisson Hotel, Indore.

Chief guest Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the program. The forum will include more than 350 participants, including ambassadors, high commissioners, diplomatic representatives, industry organizations, investors and business representatives from more than 15 countries in the Latin America and Caribbean region.

This platform will prove to be an important initiative towards strengthening trade, investment, industrial cooperation and strategic partnership between India and Latin America-Caribbean countries. Through the program, Madhya Pradesh will be presented as an emerging global investment and export hub located in the heart of India.

In the past years, there has been a significant increase in trade relations between Madhya Pradesh and Latin America and Caribbean countries. Last year, the state’s exports to countries in the region reached Rs 3 crore, which is 19 per cent more than the previous financial year. Products from the state’s pharmaceuticals, engineering, agro-based products, packaging and manufacturing sectors are being exported to more than 33 countries.
