Commercial flight operations are set to commence at the Noida International Airport in Jewar on June 15, 2026. Meanwhile, various airlines are gearing up for their operations. Following other major domestic aviation companies, Akasa Air has also announced the launch of its services from Noida Airport. The airline will operate daily direct flights to Navi Mumbai and Bengaluru starting June 16, 2026. The company has recently opened bookings for these flights. According to Akasa Air, the new flights will provide better connectivity between the NCR and two of the country's key economic and technical hubs. The airline states that this initiative will offer greater convenience to passengers while also strengthening regional connectivity.
**Flight Schedule**
Akasa Air will operate four flights daily from Noida International Airport. On the Navi Mumbai-Noida route, flight QP 2017 will depart from Navi Mumbai at 7:25 AM and arrive in Noida at 9:35 AM. The return flight, QP 2018, will depart from Noida at 10:15 AM and reach Navi Mumbai at 12:30 PM.
Additionally, on the Bengaluru-Noida route, flight QP 1575 will depart from Bengaluru at 4:25 PM and arrive in Noida at 7:15 PM. The return flight, QP 1576, will depart from Noida at 7:55 PM and reach Bengaluru at 11:00 PM.
In March of this year, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) granted an aerodrome license under the 'public use' category to Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL).
**Ticket Bookings Open**
