New Delhi. The Delhi High Court on Friday refused to give immediate hearing to a petition in which cockroach Janata Party had raised law and order concerns arising out of the proposed protest at Jantar Mantar on June 6.

The High Court refused to grant relief to the petitioner in this case, due to which the organization of protest by Cockroach Janata Party could not be stopped for the time being. It was argued in the petition that such protests could disrupt public order and worsen the law and order situation.
However, the Court did not recognize the need for an urgent hearing on the petition and refused to issue any direction in this regard. The decision allows the Cockroach Janata Party to go ahead with their proposed protests, provided they obtain all necessary permissions and cooperate in maintaining law and order. The court has said that the matter will be considered at an appropriate time for further hearing.
