'Drishyam 3' box office collections day 16: Mohanlal film falls by 14 percent; Worldwide collection touches Rs 231.26 Cr

Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph 's 'Drishyam 3' continues its theatrical run with small daily drops at the box office. The film has maintained a stable performance during its third week. However, collections have gradually slowed down over the last few days.
According to Sacnilk estimates, 'Drishyam 3' collected Rs 80 lakhs net on Day 16. The latest figure represents a 14 percent decline compared to the previous day's collection of Rs 93 lakhs. The film recorded these collections across 851 shows.
'Drishyam 3' crosses Rs 231 cr worldwide'Drishyam 3' has already crossed major milestones during its theatrical journey. The total India net collection now stands at Rs 103.43 crore. India gross collections have reached Rs 120.01 crore so far. 'Drishyam 3' collected Rs 10 lakhs overseas on Day 16.
Total overseas gross collections have climbed to Rs 111.25 crore. The film's worldwide gross collection has now reached Rs 231.26 crore. The Malayalam version remained the biggest contributor to the film's Day 16 collections. The Tamil version added only a small amount to the overall total.
The Malayalam version generated Rs 79 lakhs India net and recorded 19 percent occupancy across 841 shows. Meanwhile, the Tamil version added Rs 1 lakh and registered 27 percent occupancy from 10 shows.
The film had earlier maintained stronger numbers during its first week. Day 7 collections stood at Rs 6.65 crore with 4,721 shows and 32.8 percent occupancy.
Day 8 also brought Rs 6.65 crore, although the number of shows reduced to 3,453. Occupancy on that day reached 40.8 percent. Week 1 concluded with a collection of Rs 81.95 crore.
Night shows continue to perform betterDay 16 occupancy figures showed stronger movement during late evening and night shows. Morning occupancy remained lower in comparison.
The Malayalam version recorded an overall occupancy of 15.31 percent. Morning shows registered 6.00 percent occupancy while afternoon shows stood at 9.56 percent. Evening shows later climbed to 16.33 percent. Night shows reported the highest occupancy of the day at 27.33 percent.
According to the state-wise gross report, Kerala collected Rs 85 lakhs on Day 16. Karnataka followed with Rs 4 lakhs while Tamil Nadu contributed Rs 2 lakhs.
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana added Rs 1 lakh. The rest of India also brought in Rs 1 lakh.
'Drishyam 3' follows Georgekutty as he faces his toughest challenge yet. Although the third installment is getting mixed reviews from the audiences, this Jeethu Joseph's directorial has already proved to be a success at the box office.
