England got a good start on day two, losing three wickets on 126 runs against New Zealand in the first Test at Lord's. However, after that, the hosts struggled. Even though they are leading by over 150 runs at this moment, the wicket of Ben Stokes left the rest of the work on Jamie Smith and the lower order, who are practically bowlers.
Stokes was the next man to go after Joe Root, who got dismissed for 8 runs after an unfortunate umpire's call in the same over. Stokes' wicket came in the 34th over off Nathan Smith.
A length ball clocking at 130 k/m angled in from around the wicket, deceived the England captain. Stokes wanted to play inside the line, but it went straight, hitting the top of the stumps with the bails flying in the air
