A contemporary tribute to tradition: Germany’s 2026 FIFA World Cup kits pay homage to the nation’s historic triumphs while introducing a fresh chapter in their football story.

The 2026 World Cup collection marks a significant milestone for Germany, as Adidas unveils designs that honour the country's rich football legacy before a long-standing supplier transition. The kits capture the essence of heritage and innovation, symbolising both the past and the future of German football.

The home jersey embodies the spirit of legendary victories, featuring a repeating diamond and chevron pattern inspired by the iconic designs of Germany’s title-winning campaigns. Accompanied by a bold away version, these kits merge heritage, cutting-edge performance, and national identity with precision.

Germany Home Kit

The home kit serves as a refined homage to the nation’s most celebrated World Cup uniforms. A crisp white base acts as the foundation, overlaid with a striking tricolour design of black, red, and gold diamonds and chevrons—echoing the styles worn during the victorious tournaments of 1990 and 2014. The four stars positioned above the crest proudly represent Germany’s World Cup triumphs in 1954, 1974, 1990, and 2014.

Completing the ensemble are black shorts and white socks, both embellished with subtle diamond detailing. The overall design blends heritage aesthetics with a modern touch, delivering a unified and sophisticated look.

The home kit was officially released on 6 November 2025 and is available through Adidas’s global outlets, the DFB fan shop, and select retail partners. The authentic version is priced at £120, while the replica edition costs £85.

Germany Away Kit

The away jersey builds upon the visual language of the home design, presenting diagonal chevrons across the entire shirt in deep navy blue. The pattern creates a dynamic interplay of three interlocking shapes, with colour elements drawn from different chapters of Germany’s football history. The design references the blue quarter-zip tops worn during the 1954 campaign, as well as the blue and white training gear of the 1960s through the 1980s. Touches of aqua-blue pay tribute to the vivid training apparel of the 1990s, resulting in a visually impactful and historically layered design. A small flag tag at the hem of the shirt subtly acknowledges the enduring partnership between Adidas and the German national team, which dates back to 1954.

The away kit follows the same pricing structure as the home version, retailing at £120 for the authentic model and £85 for the replica.
