Real Madrid are entering a defining phase in their modern history as club members get ready to vote in the presidential elections that will decide who leads the institution for the next four years.

Following several weeks of campaigning, public appearances, and ambitious declarations, the contest between Florentino Perez and Enrique Riquelme is nearing its climax.

What started as a standard electoral process has turned into a high-profile race that has captivated Madridistas across Spain and around the world.

Discussions have ranged from sporting strategies to potential marquee signings, making the debate over Real Madrid’s future direction one of the most talked-about topics in recent weeks.

In the upcoming election, current president Florentino Perez will attempt to secure another term, while his challenger Enrique Riquelme seeks to bring a fresh perspective to the Santiago Bernabéu.

Members will be able to cast their votes between 9:00 am and 8:00 pm without interruption.

The polling centre will be located at the Real Madrid Basketball Pavilion in Valdebebas, on Avenida Alejandro de la Sota. Reports suggest that around 70,000 members are eligible to vote.

To participate in the election, three key requirements must be met. Voters must be registered members of Real Madrid and of legal age, hold at least one full year of membership, and be listed on the official electoral roll.

By the end of the day, Real Madrid will know whether Florentino Perez will continue his presidency or if Enrique Riquelme has successfully persuaded members that a new direction is needed.
