Desk: Israel is again angry at Pakistan for becoming a ‘peacemaker’ to end the ongoing conflict in Western Asia and has raised questions about the mediation of the neighboring country. Israeli Ambassador to India Reuven Azar bluntly said that Pakistan is not trustworthy. He described Islamabad as a trouble-making country.

Pakistan has repeatedly claimed mediation to end the conflict between America, Israel and Iran. America also accepted this, but America’s ‘friend’ Israel itself has repeatedly raised questions on the credibility of Pakistan and called it untrustworthy.

Israeli Ambassador Reuven Azar raised questions on Pakistan’s role in ending Middle East tension and said that ‘mediation requires a party who can be trusted. He clearly said that Pakistan neither has the ability to mediate nor can it be trusted in any way.

Azar said, ‘Pakistan has always been inclined towards terrorism and conservative forces. He further said, if the supporters of the fundamentalists are the ones who conduct the mediation, then what result will be achieved. The Israeli Ambassador also advised America to be cautious of a country like Pakistan and not to fall into its trap.

The Israeli Ambassador has also rejected reports of any rift between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He clearly said that everything is fine between the top leaders of the two countries, those who are waiting to see the distance between the two leaders will have to wait. Azar described the alleged debate between Trump and Netanyahu over the Lebanon conflict as a ‘friendly strategic disagreement’ and said that it was being exaggerated by the people.
