England quick Josh Tongue provides the ideal start on Day 2 of 1st Test between England and New Zealand at Lords with sensational delivery to Glen Phillips.
New Zealand resumed their innings on Day 2, looking to reduce England's lead after the hosts posted 140 in the first innings. It didn't take Tongue long though to send them further into their shell.
With brilliant movement of the ball, it angles into the batter but then moves sharply out of the gap before hitting middle stump with the batter well outside the off stump as his off stump flies backwards with a certain end to his innings.
Phillips depart for 34 off 39 balls, with six boundaries. The wicket of Phillips brings major damage to the tourists batting line up who are already struggling with the pace attack.

Tongue Makes Early Dent on Day 2
His dismissal of Phillips left England completely in charge of the morning session, where Tongue really began to torment the New Zealand players with his sheer pace and movement.
Shortly after removing Phillips, he did it again to dismiss Nathan Smith for his third wicket. The batter was bowled after being completely beaten by a sharp nip-backer.
The pair of Tongue wickets put New Zealand further on their backsides and England are clearly now believing they can reach a very healthy lead in the first innings.
Tongue proved to be far too tough for the visiting side with the ball going both ways.
New Zealand Fall Further Behind
As they reached 83/8 in 23.2 overs of Day 2, New Zealand remained behind England's first innings score by 57. Their batting unit struggled to build partnerships, and with wickets falling at regular intervals it was clear they would continue to fall.
Although a defiant Phillips chipped away at England's first innings total with a fast 34, New Zealand's other batters could not hold their own against the quality England bowling attack.
England's 140 in their first innings didn't seem like enough, but Robinson on Day 1 and Tongue on the second along with the rest of their bowling unit has managed to restrict the Kiwi's charge.
New Zealand are already 8 down, and England would come back into the second half of the morning session well in command of the first Test match at Lord's. Tongue removing Phillips and sending the off stump spinning into the air with a devastating outswing had to be the moment of the morning.
