Knews Desk- Keeping in mind the upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha elections, Congress has started redrafting its political strategy. The party leadership believes that in the changing political environment, it will be difficult to achieve electoral success without strengthening social equations. Keeping this in view, Congress is now working on a new election strategy by keeping Dalits, backward classes and minority communities at the center.

According to sources, the party is preparing to resort to social engineering to strengthen its support base, especially in states like Uttar Pradesh and Punjab. Congress believes that Dalit and minority voters in these states have the ability to influence the election results. In such a situation, a plan is being made to increase its reach to these sections and raise their problems prominently.

Party leaders say that the aim of Congress is not only to gain electoral gains but also to strengthen trust among different sections of the society. For this, many programs and public relations campaigns are being prepared at the organizational level. Local leaders have also been instructed to be active at the grassroots level and raise people’s issues prominently.

Political analysts believe that Congress is trying to re-organize its traditional vote bank which has been weakened for a long time. Strong connect with Dalit and minority communities could give the party new political strength in many states.

However, how successful this strategy will be will be answered only in the coming elections. At present, Congress is paying special attention to strengthening the organization, creating social equations and increasing its presence at the grassroots level. The party hopes that the new strategy will prove helpful in improving its electoral performance.
