Odisha government has directed district collectors to ensure timely issuance of caste certificates for students seeking admissions, amid expanded reservation quotas for SC, ST and SEBC in medical and technical courses from 2026–27. Applications must be disposed under ORTPSA timelines, with RI verification within 3 days and strict monitoring from sub-collector to RDC levels, with action for delays.
