Siraj suffered a minor shoulder injury in the final of IPL 2026 against Royal Challengers Bangalore. In such a situation, the team management can take a decision to drop him keeping in mind his fitness and workload. If Siraj is out, then bowler Aaqib Nabi, who took the highest wicket in Ranji Trophy last season, may get a place in the team.
