The boutique hotel, located within walking distance of Broadway, Times Square, Fifth Avenue and several major subway lines, previously underwent a renovation aimed at serving “the needs of today’s business and leisure travelers,” Millennium said in a press release on Monday.

The hotel now features 124 guest rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, alongside redesigned public spaces such as the lobby lounge, fireplace lounge and a club lounge scheduled to open in early October 2026.

“Millennium Premier Hotel New York Times Square represents an important milestone for our U.S. portfolio and our continued investment in key gateway destinations,” Shah Adil, Millennium’s senior vice president for operations, asset management and development, said in the press release.

Millennium’s parent company, Singapore-listed property developer CDL, is controlled by Kwek who, together with his family, ranked second on Forbes‘ list of Singapore’s richest people last September with an estimated net worth of US$14.3 billion.

CDL said in an operational update last month that its hotel operations’ global revenue per available room (RevPAR) rose 4.3% year-on-year to S$144.8 (US$113.1) in the first quarter of 2026. The growth was underpinned by RevPAR increases in Australasia, Singapore, Europe and New York, as reported by The Business Times.
