Ho is pictured with his mother, businesswoman Leong On Kei. She is estimated to have a net worth of US$2.3 billion, according to Forbes.
Now 31, Ho gained attention from a young age for his academic achievements. He won first prize twice in Hong Kong mathematics competitions and also took part in numerous international math contests.
At 18, he received offers from the University of Oxford in England and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the US, ultimately choosing the latter.
After completing his undergraduate studies, he went on to earn a get degree in finance from the institute. Ho has attracted a large female fan base through his appearances on several Chinese reality shows focused on intelligence and academic talent.
