Lemonade or Shikanji in summer : Due to increase in temperature during summer season, it becomes necessary to bring changes in eating habits. In this season the body sweats a lot. People get troubled due to the harshness of the weather. Experts say that in this season, start the day with lemon water or Shikanji, it gives instant energy and Vitamin C. Similarly, the body has to work harder to digest deep-fried food, samosas, pakoras and junk food, which increases heat in the body.

Shikanji or Indian Nimbu Paani is a lemon based drink made from ground spices and lemon juice. This drink is best for your stomach and brain in extreme heat. It is also good for your digestion. You can add cumin, mint and even chaat masala in it.
Shikanji Masala
Take a tall jug, add lemon juice, mint leaves, sugar, shikanji masala and fill the jug with cold water. Stir to mix everything well.
Now pour the shikanji into a glass filled with ice cubes and 1-2 lemon slices. You can easily prepare 8 glasses with this much spices. Your masala shikanji is ready to serve.
Deep-fried food: The body has to work harder to digest samosas, pakoras and junk food, which increases heat in the body.
