Realme has officially confirmed the launch of its upcoming smartphone, the Realme P4R, in India. The device is scheduled to debut on June 10 and will become the latest addition to the company’s battery-focused P series lineup. Notably, the Realme P4R will be the first smartphone in the series to carry the ‘R’ branding.
The launch follows the success of Realme’s battery-centric devices, including the Realme P4 Power, which featured a massive 10,001mAh battery, and the recently introduced Realme 16T equipped with an 8,000mAh battery.
Realme P4R India Launch Details
Realme has confirmed that the P4R will launch in India on June 10. The smartphone will be available for purchase through Flipkart and Realme’s official website. Pricing details and sale information are expected to be announced during the launch event.
The Realme P4R will be offered in three colour options: Titanium Glare, Silver Glare, and Lavender Glare. The device will also feature a customizable Pulse Light and AI Power Light system designed to provide interactive notifications for gaming, music playback, and alerts.
Massive 8,000mAh Battery Takes Center Stage
One of the key highlights of the Realme P4R is its enormous 8,000mAh Titan Battery. According to the company, the smartphone can deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge. While the claim sounds impressive, real-world battery performance will only be clear after detailed testing.
The device supports 45W fast charging and includes AI-powered battery management features. Realme says its Battery Health Engine technology can maintain up to 80% battery health even after seven years of usage.
For gaming enthusiasts, the smartphone also comes with bypass charging support, which allows power to directly run the device while gaming, reducing battery stress and heat generation. Additionally, reverse charging functionality enables the phone to function as a power bank for charging other devices.
Realme P4R Camera and AI Features
The Realme P4R is confirmed to feature a 50MP AI-powered primary camera. The smartphone will support Motion Photo functionality on both front and rear cameras, helping users capture moving moments more effectively.
The device will also include several AI-powered photography and editing tools, such as AI Portrait Glow, AI Eraser 2.0, AI Ultra Clarity, and AI Unblur. AI Eraser 2.0 is designed to remove unwanted objects from photos quickly, making image editing easier for users.
Expected Price and Market Competition
A recent leak suggested that the Realme P4R could carry a box price of Rs 44,999, indicating that the smartphone may be positioned in the upper mid-range segment. However, the official pricing remains under wraps and will be revealed during the launch event.
Industry reports also suggest that the Realme P4R could be a rebranded version of the Realme 16T. While the specifications announced so far support this possibility, Realme has not officially confirmed the claim.
