Iran’s Attack on a US Military Base : Amid speculations about ceasefire talks, Iran has launched a major attack on an American military base. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) on Wednesday said it would target American military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain. The IRGC claimed to have carried out missile and drone attacks on the headquarters of the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet, military airbases and helicopters in Kuwait and Bahrain.

Responding to the claim by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) wrote in an ex-post, “Claim: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has claimed that today they attacked the headquarters of the US 5th Fleet in Bahrain and a US air base in the region with missiles and drones. This claim is false. Fact: All attacks by Iran on the US military have failed. The US military is fully alert and is fully aware of any possible attack from Iran.” Ready to respond to any unnecessary aggression.”
In another post, US Central Command (CENTCOM) wrote, “Another wave of Iranian drones, which attempted to attack US forces in Kuwait, failed to hit their intended targets tonight. US Central Command’s air defense system successfully shot down multiple drones and ensured no damage to any US personnel or assets.”
