TMC Split: After being out of power in West Bengal, the situation is becoming clear for former CM Mamata Banerjee’s party TMC to be torn apart, as MLAs Ritabrata Banerjee and Sandipan Saha, suspended from the party, reached the Assembly on Wednesday. Who has claimed the support of more than 50 TMC MLAs. If TMC breaks, it will be a big blow for Mamata Banerjee.

According to media reports, TMC MLAs Ritabrata Banerjee and Sandipan Saha have reached the assembly. Apart from this, the MLAs are Arup Roy, Shiuli Saha and Akrujaman. Sabina Yasmin has also reached. He said that today we will hold a meeting to elect the leader of the opposition. Ritabrata Banerjee is claimed to have letters of support from 59 TMC MLAs. Last Monday, TMC had expelled Ritabrata Banerjee and Sandipan Saha from the party on charges of opposition activities.
Rebels Ritabrata Banerjee and Sandipan Saha had alleged that on May 6, TMC’s motion paper approving the names of Leader of Opposition, Deputy Leader of Opposition and Chief Whip of the House had fake signatures of several MLAs. At the same time, a day after the expulsion, Ritabrata and Sandipan had met many party MLAs at the MLA Hostel in Kolkata. After which the fears of a split in TMC were further strengthened.
