New Delhi. Mixed signals are being received from the global market today. US markets had closed with gains during the last session. However, Dow Johns Futures seems to be trading at a flat level with a slight decline today. Buying continued in the European market also during the last session. At the same time, mixed trading is taking place in the Asian market today.
The US market witnessed sharp fluctuations during the last session. The US market had taken a big lead during early trading due to the rise in the stocks of Nvidia, Marvell, Tesla and Apple, but as soon as the news of increasing tension with Iran came, selling started on Wall Street. However, due to selling in the last hours of trading, Wall Street indices were not much affected.
The Dow Johns Industrial Average closed at 51,307.79 points with a gain of 228.91 points or 0.45 percent. Similarly, the S&P 500 index ended the last session’s trading at the level of 7,609.78 points with a rise of 0.13 percent.
Apart from this, Nasdaq closed at the level of 27,093.90 points with a slight strength of 0.03 percent. At the same time, Dow Johns Futures is currently seen trading at the level of 51,304.56 points with a symbolic weakness of 0.01 percent.
The European market also remained bullish during the last session. The FTSE index closed at 10,373.51 points with a gain of 0.33 percent.
Similarly, the CAC index jumped 0.76 percent and ended the last session’s trading at the level of 8,209.09 points. Apart from this, DAX index closed at the level of 25,124.17 points with a gain of 0.48 percent.
Mixed trading is seen in the Asian market today. Of the nine markets in Asia, the indices of four are trading strongly in the green, while three indices are in the red with a decline.
There was no change in Kospi index and SET composite index today due to holiday in the stock exchanges of South Korea and Thailand. Today, Gift Nifty is currently trading at the level of 23,290 points with a weakness of 202.50 points or 0.86 percent.
Similarly, the Hang Seng Index has fallen by 446.32 points or 1.74 percent to the level of 25,592 points. At the same time, Jakarta Composite Index has fallen today by 249.17 points or 4.02 percent to the level of 5,946.26 points.
On the other hand, the Straits Times Index is trading at the level of 5,135.50 points with a strength of 0.75 percent. Similarly, Shanghai Composite Index has jumped 0.56 percent to reach the level of 4,097.94 points. Nikkei index has made a big jump today.
At present this index has reached the level of 68,672 points with a jump of 1,937.76 points or 2.90 percent. Similarly, Taiwan Weighted Index is currently seen trading at the level of 46,474.29 points with an increase of 916.98 points or 2.01 percent.
