Now a new legal twist has emerged regarding this film, which is said to be based on the background of the famous Black Buck case of 1998. The legal team of actor Salman Khan has sent a legal notice to the producer and director of the film. The notice demands a ban on the release of the film and removal of posters and other promotional materials. It has also been warned that further legal action will be taken if the demands are not met.

Amidst this controversy, the film’s director Bharat S Shrinate gave his open reaction in a conversation with ‘Read’. He said that ‘when you speak the truth, controversy is bound to happen. There was controversy over Udaipur files also. Those who are trapped somewhere in it and do not want the truth to come out are afraid of the truth.

What did the film director say?

The director said that the poster of the film has been launched and its teaser will be released on June 20. He said that the film has been made with utmost hard work and dedication and its release date will also be announced soon. Bharat S Shrinet said that the purpose of making the film is to show the struggle and heritage of Bishnoi community. According to him, “This is a battle of legacy. How the Bishnoi community made sacrifices to protect the flora and fauna, this film brings out the same feeling.”

He claimed that before making the film, NOC was taken from the concerned witnesses including key witness Poonam Chandra Bishnoi. The director said, “We stand with the victim and are trying to shed light on this incident through the film.” Regarding the story of the film, he said that only those things have been shown in it which are present in the public domain. “We have not glorified anyone. Only what is true will be shown. This is not a documentary but a feature film.

Does Lawrence Bishnoi also have a role in the film ‘Black Deer’?

When the director was asked a question about the character of Lawrence Bishnoi, he said that the events from 1998 to 2024 are depicted in the film. He told that in the film, a character named ‘Lion Vishroi’ has been shown, who is allegedly affected by the incident and becomes a threat to the main character. However, he said that no person has been glorified.

When asked about making the film despite the case being in the court, the director said, “The court is supreme and it will decide whether the film will be released or not. From big cases to small disputes, all take place in the court only.
