According to Udayatithi, it will be auspicious to celebrate Monthly Krishna Janmashtami on Monday, 8th June 2026 in Purushottam month.
How to do monthly Krishna Janmashtami puja?
Monthly Krishna Janmashtami On this day, wake up early in the morning, take bath etc. and wear clean yellow colored clothes. Place a stool in the temple of the house and spread a red or yellow cloth over it.
Install the statue of Lord Krishna at the post. Take a pledge to fast by taking water, flowers, basil leaves or sweets in your hand. Anoint the idol of Lord Krishna with Panchamrit and adorn it after dressing it in new clothes.
Then offer yellow colored fruits, flowers, sweets and sandalwood to Lord Krishna. Chant the mantra while lighting a ghee lamp. Conclude the puja by performing aarti. Break the fast after 12 o’clock in the night or after sunrise the next day after performing puja.
