From Bollywood to Hollywood, Ali Fazal has created a special identity with his hard work and acting. During a conversation with Shekhar Suman in ‘Shekhar Tonight’, Ali shared an interesting experience from his Hollywood film, where maintaining the language and its authenticity became a special responsibility of his.

During the conversation, Shekhar Suman asked Ali how was the experience of working in Hollywood films and living among foreign artists. On this, Ali remembered the days of his film ‘Victoria and Abdul’, in which he worked with famous actress Judy Dench.

Talking about the film, Ali Fazal said, “My experience of working on ‘Victoria and Abdul’ in Hollywood was very beautiful. It is a true story. Abdul Karim was very close to Queen Victoria and he taught her Urdu for about fifteen years. I also read the letters written by him. It was a kind of love story. It also had poetry and Urdu poetry in it, so whenever I made a mistake in a word or a pun, When I corrected it, he would go through a long process, then after repeated checks, he would trust me and say, ‘If anything is right or wrong, please let us know.’
