CUET UG 2026 Admit Card: The NTA has clarified that these admit cards have been issued exclusively for those candidates who were affected by technical glitches during the examinations held on May 28 and May 30 (First Shift).

CUET UG 2026 Admit Card: A major update has emerged for students appearing for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released new admit cards for those candidates whose examinations are being re-conducted due to technical reasons. Students whose examinations are now scheduled for June 6 and June 7, 2026, can download their updated admit cards from the official website.

The NTA has clarified that these admit cards have been issued solely for those candidates who faced technical difficulties during the examinations held on May 28 and May 30 (First Shift). Such students must carry the new hall ticket—instead of the old admit card—to the examination center.

For Which Students Have New Admit Cards Been Issued?

According to the notification issued by the NTA, the examinations of several candidates were disrupted due to technical glitches encountered at certain examination centers. Consequently, a decision was taken to re-conduct the examination for the affected students. These candidates' examinations will now be held on June 6 and June 7, and new admit cards have been issued for them. Candidates are advised to carefully verify all the details mentioned on their new admit cards.

How to Download the CUET UG 2026 Admit Card

1. If you are appearing for the rescheduled examination, first visit the official CUET UG website at https://cuet.nta.nic.in/.

2. Click on the 'CUET UG 2026 Admit Card' link displayed on the homepage.

3. Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth (or Password). 4. After logging in, the admit card will appear on the screen.

5. Download it and take a printout for future reference.

What details must be checked on the Admit Card?

After downloading the admit card, candidates should carefully verify all the information provided therein. It is essential to check details such as the exam date, reporting time, exam shift, name and address of the examination center, the candidate's name and photograph, and important instructions. If any discrepancy is noticed in any of the details, candidates should immediately contact the concerned authorities.

What items must be carried to the Examination Center?

The NTA has instructed candidates that simply carrying the admit card to the examination center is not sufficient; it is mandatory to carry a valid photo identity proof along with it. Candidates may carry any one of the following documents: Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, or Passport. Candidates will not be granted entry into the examination center without both the admit card and a valid identity proof. To avoid any inconvenience during the examination, students should reach the examination center before the scheduled reporting time. Furthermore, it is mandatory to strictly adhere to all the guidelines provided on the admit card. The NTA has urged candidates not to rely on old admit cards and to appear for the examination exclusively with the newly issued admit card.
