Prashant Kishore wants to defeat Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) more than Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in the by-election to be held in Bankipur Assembly. Prashant Kishore has announced that defeating Bharatiya Janata Party on Bankipur assembly seat will be Jan Suraj’s priority and his team will give its full strength for this.
Prashant Kishore said that Bihar’s politics needs to be taken out of the debate on caste, color and slogans and focused on real issues like employment, migration, education and law and order. While talking to the media in Motihari, he claimed that BJP has been considering Bankipur seat as its stronghold for a long time, but this time the contest there will not be easy.
Prashant Kishor will not fail in strategy
Prashant Kishor alleged that in the last assembly elections, money was used on a large scale to weaken the candidates supported by Jan Suraj. He said that money was distributed to influence the voters and an attempt was made to influence the election atmosphere.
Jan Suraj’s priority is to defeat BJP, not RJD
Prashant Kishor has announced that if political parties adopt all kinds of strategies in the elections, then Jan Suraj will also enter the fray with full preparation to challenge BJP. However, he did not clarify whether he himself would contest from Bankipur seat or not. On this question, he avoided giving a direct answer and said that his priority is to bring change in the politics of Bihar more than any one seat.
‘Prashant Kishor is cornering BJP on symbols’
During his address in Motihari, Prashant Kishore also targeted Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary. He said that people’s problems do not end by merely changing colors or discussing political symbols.
Prashant Kishore is cornering Samrat even on colors
Prashant Kishore raised the question that when Jungle Raj was discussed in Bihar, where were the many leaders sitting in power today and what role did they play in that period. Hitting back at the Chief Minister’s recent green statement, he said that the public now wants results and not color politics.
‘The color of migration should change in Bihar’
Prashant Kishore said that the real need is to stop the migration from Bihar. He said that even today lakhs of youth are moving to other states in search of employment and a better future. If the government really wants change then it will have to work seriously on employment, education and industry.
Prashant Kishore also raised the issue of crime and law and order. He has claimed that investment and development in the state is possible only when the common people are assured of security. He said that Bihar’s politics will have to move beyond religious and symbolic debates and focus on issues of public interest.
Prashant Kishor busy in preparations before the by-elections
Prashant Kishore’s statement given in Motihari has come at a time when political activities regarding the assembly by-elections in Bihar have intensified. Jan Suraj is constantly trying to present itself as an alternative political force.
His aggressive stance regarding Bankipur seat is being considered as an indication that the competition in Bihar politics may become more intense in the coming days. Jan Suraj is also going to enter the direct fight between BJP, RJD, JDU and other parties.
