TRIBUNWOW.COM - Top-tier Super League clubs, Persib Bandung and Persija Jakarta, are reportedly both in search of new goalkeepers for the 2026–2027 season.

Currently, two goalkeepers are being linked with the clubs ahead of the next transfer window.

However, the market values of the goalkeepers targeted by Persija Jakarta and Persib Bandung differ significantly. Here’s a detailed comparison:

Goalkeeper Targeted by Persib Bandung

Persib Bandung are rumoured to be eyeing Lion City Sailors’ Croatian goalkeeper, Ivan Susak.

The news regarding the inclusion of the Croatian player in Persib Bandung’s shortlist was shared by the Instagram account @transferliga1dan2 on Sunday (31 May 2026).

It was even reported that Persib Bandung have already submitted an offer for the player.

“OFFER

Persib Bandung (1st tier) are said to have made an offer to Croatian player Ivan Susak (28), who previously played for the Singaporean club Lion City Sailors,” the account wrote.

Ivan Susak was born in Metkovic, Croatia, on 6 October 1997.

The 28-year-old stands tall at 2.03 metres.

Under his strong presence, Lion City Sailors recorded 10 clean sheets in 19 matches this season, conceding only 14 goals in the Singapore Premier League.

Across all competitions this season, Ivan Susak managed 12 clean sheets, conceded 36 goals, and logged 2,790 minutes in 31 appearances.

During the 2025–2026 campaign, he helped Lion City Sailors secure two titles — the Singaporean Cup Winner and the Singaporean Champion.

Ivan Susak joined Lion City Sailors from the Croatian First League on 10 July 2025.

The player, valued at Rp 6.95 billion, is under contract until 30 June 2027.

Persib Bandung could pursue either a transfer or loan deal if they wish to secure his services.

Goalkeeper Targeted by Persija Jakarta

Unlike Persib Bandung, Persija Jakarta are reportedly pursuing a high-value goalkeeper with a market worth of Rp 34.76 billion.

This figure is five times higher than that of Persib’s target, Ivan Susak.

The goalkeeper targeted by Persija Jakarta is Czech Republic’s Martin Jedlicka.

The rumour of Martin Jedlicka being on Persija Jakarta’s transfer list was reported by the football-focused Instagram account @bolalapak on Monday (18 May 2026).

“Martin Jedlička, a goalkeeper, is currently 28 years old and stands 1.87 metres tall. His career has largely been spent in the Czech First League.

Martin Jedlička has represented the Czech national team from the U16 to U21 levels and has one senior national team appearance.

He has played in the Europa League, featuring in a total of four matches, and has also appeared in the UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds,” the account reported.

At present, Martin Jedlicka plays for the Czech First League club Banik Ostrava.

The 28-year-old is on loan from FC Viktoria Plzen, with his loan tenure set to end on 30 June 2026.

If Persija Jakarta are interested, a loan move would be the most viable option.

This is because his contract with FC Viktoria Plzen runs until 30 June 2028.

Viktoria Plzen currently sit third in Group A of the Czech First League standings, while Banik Ostrava are fifth in Group B.

During the 2025–2026 season, Martin Jedlicka made 38 appearances across all competitions, conceding 50 goals, keeping 10 clean sheets, and playing a total of 3,375 minutes.

Detailed statistics for this season:

  • Chance Liga Abstiegsrunde (FC Banik Ostrava): 4 matches, 4 goals conceded, 2 clean sheets, 360 minutes played.

However, during the semi-final against Ireland and the final against Denmark, he remained on the bench.

The Czech Republic qualified for the 2026 World Cup after defeating Denmark in a penalty shootout (5–3).

In the 2026 World Cup, the Czech Republic are drawn into Group A alongside Mexico, South Africa, and South Korea.
