Before Fowler came onboard as Grace, Cipriano read with “three amazing and completely individual, different versions of Grace”. Despite all three of them being “incredible” according to Cipriano, it was Fowler’s version and “quirkiness” that made her feel like “she truly fell right out of the books.”
He continued, “When we were watching the videos back, some of the chem reads, after having done it that day, [co-showrunners] Louisa [Levy] or Gina [Fattore]one of them said, ‘It’s cool, because you can tell she has no idea what’s going to come out of her mouth next,’ which is so Grace, and it was so perfect.”
Prime Video recently began production on the second season of Off Campusstarring Mika Abdalla and Stephen Kalyn as Allie Hayes and Dean Di Laurentis, respectively. A premiere date for season 2 is yet to be announced.
