JEE Advanced 2026 results declared: Check toppers, marks and JoSAA details

New Delhi: JEE Advanced 2026 results are out, and the IIT Delhi zone has taken the spotlight this year. Subham Kumar has secured All India Rank 1 with 330 marks out of 360, making him the top scorer in one of India’s toughest engineering entrance exams.

Arohi Deshpande, also from the IIT Delhi zone, is the top-ranked woman candidate. She scored 280 out of 360 and secured rank 77 in the Common Rank List. For students and parents who spent months tracking mock scores, answer keys and result dates, this is the big final scoreboard moment.

JEE Advanced 2026 result declared

According to the official release, Kabir Chhillar secured the second rank with 329 marks. Jatin Chahar came third with 319 marks. All three top rankers are from the IIT Delhi zone, giving the zone a clear lead in the JEE Advanced 2026 results.

A total of 1,87,389 candidates had registered for JEE Advanced 2026. Out of them, 1,79,694 appeared in both Paper 1 and Paper 2. The exam was held on May 17.

This year, 56,880 candidates have qualified. The number includes 10,107 female candidates.

IIT Roorkee director congratulates students

Prof Kamal Kishore Pant, Director, IIT Roorkee, congratulated the qualified candidates and asked them to take part in the JoSAA 2026 counselling process.

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all candidates who have qualified JEE (Advanced) 2026. This achievement is a testament to their dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence. All qualified candidates are encouraged to participate in the JoSAA 2026 counselling and seat-allocation process, irrespective of their Class XII (or equivalent) marks,” he said.

“However, the final admission shall remain subject to the fulfilment of the percentage-related eligibility requirements and other applicable conditions prescribed in the JEE (Advanced) 2026 Information Brochure,” he added.

How to check JEE Advanced 2026 result

Candidates can check their result by logging in with their roll number, date of birth and registered mobile number.

The scorecard includes:

  • Qualification status
  • All India Rank
  • Subject-wise marks
  • Total marks
  • Category rank
  • Cutoff details
  • Students who have qualified should now keep their documents ready for JoSAA counselling. The race for IIT seats now moves to the next round.
