The main accused in the murder of a 17-year-old student in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad district died following a police encounter in the early hours of Sunday, according to officials.


The accused, identified as Asad, was wanted in connection with the fatal stabbing of a Class 11 student in the Khoda area. The teenager had been undergoing treatment for serious injuries before succumbing on Friday.

However, despite medical efforts, the accused later died while undergoing treatment, officials confirmed.
