The results for JEE Advanced 2026 have been released. The eyes of students and their families were fixed on the outcomes of this examination, as admission to the IITs is granted based on these very results. This time, Shubham Kumar from the Delhi Zone delivered a stellar performance, securing the All India Rank 1.

Meanwhile, among female candidates, Aarohi Deshpande emerged as the top performer. With the release of the results, preparations are now underway to commence the JoSAA counseling process for the successful candidates.

**IIT Roorkee Releases Examination Results**
JEE Advanced 2026 was conducted by IIT Roorkee. The examination results were officially declared on the night of May 31. The exam was held on May 17 across two shifts. Candidates can now visit the official website, jeeadv.ac.in, to download their scorecards.

**Shubham Kumar Secures First Rank**
In the Common Rank List, Shubham Kumar from the Delhi Zone secured the first position by scoring 330 out of 360 marks. Kabir Chhillar took the second spot, scoring 329 marks, while Jatin Chahar stood third with 319 marks. Notably, all three top ranks were secured by students from the Delhi Zone. Among female candidates, Aarohi Deshpande from the Delhi Zone delivered an impressive performance, scoring 280 marks. She secured the 77th rank in the Common Rank List.

**56,880 Candidates Qualify**
This year, over 1.87 lakh students registered for the examination. Of these, approximately 1.79 lakh candidates appeared for both papers. According to the results, a total of 56,880 candidates have been declared successful, including 10,107 female students. Professor Kamal Kishore Pant, Director of IIT Roorkee, congratulated the successful students and advised them to participate in the JoSAA 2026 counseling process.
