West Bengal Cabinet Expansion: The second phase of formation of BJP government in West Bengal is going to be completed on Monday. The cabinet will be expanded on Monday and 35 new ministers will be administered the oath of office.

Giving information on social media platform X, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari said that the State Council of Ministers will be expanded and 35 new ministers will take oath. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at Nabanna (State Secretariat) at 11 am on Monday, where Governor RN Ravi will administer the oath of office and secrecy to the ministers.

With this, a historic change was registered in the politics of the state, because for the first time BJP formed the government in West Bengal with absolute majority. Along with him, five other leaders also took oath as ministers. These included Dilip Ghosh, Agnimitra Paul, Ashok Kirtania, Khudiram Tudu and Nisith Pramanik.
