Mirzapur: Shweta Kumari, a resident of Payagpur, who was going home on a bicycle on Wednesday near Katherwan turn under Chunar Kotwali, collided with a bike rider and suffered severe head injuries. Due to which she died during treatment, the angry family members kept the body on State 74 at 4 pm on Sunday and stopped the traffic.
The family members said that the administration had released the bike-riding youth after arresting them on the day of the accident and even today the male soldiers tried to forcefully remove him from the road by the women sitting on the road. On the other hand, the family members were also demanding the arrest of the youth. The family members were being explained by the Chunar police who reached the spot but the family did not agree. The family members said that the way the police handled this case
Due to the action taken, they do not trust the police. On the spot, efforts were being made by the elite people of the area to end the jam. Till the time of writing the news, four members of the family of the deceased girl were talking to the accused at Chunar police station, saying that if they are satisfied then the jam will be ended. Police station in-charge Vijay Shankar Singh was present on the spot with heavy police force.
