Governor R. N. Ravi will administer oath at Lok Bhawan at 11 am
Kolkata. West Bengal Chief Minister Subhendu Adhikari on Sunday announced that 35 ministers will be sworn in on Monday as part of the expansion of his cabinet. The official said that Governor R. N. Ravi will administer oath at Lok Bhawan at 11 am.
Tomorrow, the full council of ministers of the nationalist government elected by the people of West Bengal will be formed, he said in a post on social media on Sunday evening. He said, under the cabinet expansion, 35 ministers of West Bengal government will take oath at Lok Bhawan at 11 am. Governor R.N. Ravi will administer the oath of office to him at Lok Bhawan.
Adhikari was sworn in as the chief minister on May 9 after the BJP’s landslide victory in the assembly elections, ending Trinamool Congress’s 15-year rule. Along with the officer, four other ministers also took oath that day. These include Agnimitra Paul, Nisith Pramanik, Ashok Kirtania and K. Tudu included.
