Moradabad. Such a painful road accident has taken place in Thakurdwara, Uttar Pradesh which left a laughing family in ruins. The joy of attending the Eid feast turned into screams when a speeding car hit a family riding a bike. In this horrific accident, the mother and son died tragically on the spot, while the head of the family is fighting a battle between life and death. After this sad news came to light, there is an atmosphere of sadness in the entire area. At the same time, in this hour of crisis, the former MLA has extended a helping hand to the victim’s family.

Actually, this entire incident took place in village Abdullahpur Laida of Kotwali area. 55-year-old Tasavvar (son Mujahid), who lives here, was going to a relative on a bike with his wife Kherulnisha (50 years) and 23-year-old young son Sanib. There was excitement in the family about the Eid feast and Sanib was riding the bike. But destiny had something else in store. An unknown speeding car coming from the front hit his bike hard near village Mohaddipur Mod in Rani Nangal Chowki area.

The havoc of speed and the disintegrated family

The collision was so severe that the bike was blown apart and all three fell away on the road. According to local people, the accident was so horrific that Kherulnisha and her son Sanib died on the spot. Tasavvar suffered serious injuries on his head and body. With the help of passersby and police, the injured Tasavvar was immediately taken to the hospital, where considering his critical condition, the doctors referred him to a higher center. As soon as this news reached Abdullahpur Laida village, there was silence there. The family members are in bad condition, crying and not even the stove is lit in every house of the village.

Former MLA Vijay Yadav came forward to help

As soon as the information about this major Thakurdwara road accident was received, former MLA and senior Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) leader Vijay Yadav immediately became active. He first reached the hospital and inquired about the well being of the injured Tasav. After this, he reached Abdullahpur Laida village to console the victim’s family. The former MLA met Tasavvar’s family and consoled them and handed over immediate financial assistance of Rs 50,000. He assured the crying family members that he would also demand appropriate compensation for the family from the administration.

Crowd gathered at the funeral, bid farewell with tearful eyes

On Sunday, when the bodies of mother and son reached the village after post-mortem, the atmosphere once again became sad. Former MLA Vijay Yadav again reached the village with his son Sanjay Yadav to attend the last rites of the deceased. He shouldered the funeral pyre and expressed his condolences. The former MLA said that in this hour of grief, he and his entire family stand with Tasavra and will provide whatever possible help in future too. Now people are praising this sensitive attitude of Netaji in the entire region.

At present, the police have registered a case against the unknown car driver and are scanning the CCTV footage of the area so that the accused can be arrested as soon as possible. But this accident has once again raised big questions on the deadly hobby of speeding.
