Bank Holidays June 2026: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of bank holidays for June 2026. This month, bank branches will remain closed for a total of 13 days across the country due to various reasons. Apart from Sunday, second and fourth Saturday, these holidays also include many national and regional festivals. In such a situation, if you have to do any important work to the bank, then it will be beneficial for you to know the dates of holidays in advance.

- June 7 (Sunday): There will be a weekly holiday in the entire country.
- June 13 (Saturday): All banks will remain closed due to second Saturday.
- June 14 (Sunday): Sunday will be a holiday across the country.
- June 15 (Monday): Banks will remain closed on the occasion of YMA Day in Mizoram capital Aizawl and Raja Sankranti in Odisha capital Bhubaneswar.
- June 17 (Wednesday): There will be a bank holiday in Haryana and Himachal Pradesh on the occasion of Maharana Pratap Jayanti.
- June 18 (Thursday): Banks will remain closed in Punjab due to the martyrdom day of Sri Guru Arjun Dev Ji.
- June 21 (Sunday): There will be a weekly holiday in the entire country.
- June 25 (Thursday): Banks will remain closed in Vijayawada on the occasion of Muharram.
- June 26 (Friday): Due to Muharram and Ashura, banks will remain closed in many cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Patna, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Srinagar, Bhopal, Ranchi.
- June 27 (Saturday): Fourth Saturday will be a holiday.
- June 28 (Sunday): There will be a weekly holiday across the country.
- June 29 (Monday): Banks will remain closed in Shimla due to Sant Guru Kabir Jayanti.
- June 30 (Tuesday): There will be a bank holiday in Mizoram’s capital Aizawl due to Rema Ni festival.

Online banking services will remain operational
Although bank branches will remain closed for 13 days in the month of June, there is no need for customers to panic. Digital banking services will be available 24×7 as before. Facilities like UPI, Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking and ATM can be used without any interruption. This means that even when the bank is closed, important tasks like sending money, making payments and withdrawing cash can be done easily.
