The political atmosphere in West Bengal has become heated regarding action against offices allegedly linked to Trinamool Congress. Many illegal structures including the TMC party office were demolished by the Railway Administration in Beldanga, Murshidabad during a campaign to remove encroachments. Bulldozer was also used on TMC block office in Durgapur. After both the incidents, a period of political reactions has started.
