Released on the evening of May 28, the music video quickly attracted huge attention, surpassing one million YouTube views within eight minutes.
The video opens with a Lac bird, a mythical symbol in Vietnamese culture, appearing in downtown Los Angeles, a scene described by the production team as a form of “cultural exchange.” Son Tung M-TP is later seen riding the bird through the city’s streets, while another scene recreates An Giang’s traditional bull racing festival.

The MV features a range of Vietnamese folk motifs. Dancers wear masks inspired by Xuan Pha folk dance, while other visuals reference Ly Dynasty dragon patterns and jade buffaloes.
One of the most notable scenes was filmed at the scenic Trang An landscape complex, where Son Tung M-TP and his masked dance perform energetically on a floating stage.
The song has a strong Afrobeats influence, a music genre that originated in West Africa and combines hip-hop with contemporary pop. In several high-pitched sections, the singer uses auto-tune effects as part of his vocal style. American rapper Tyga, a guest artist on the project, appears alongside Son Tung M-TP in scenes set in Los Angeles.

The track was co-written by Son Tung M-TP and producer Marvey Muzique, while the English lyrics were written by Marvey Muzique and Tyga.
The song tells the story of a man whose life is changed by love: “Call me your prisoner / I’m jailed in your love I ain’t coming out.”According to the singer’s media representative, the MV marks another step in Son Tung M-TP’s efforts to expand into the international market.
