Price Change: Tesla has changed the price of its electric SUV Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) variant in the Indian market. Now the starting ex-showroom price of this electric SUV has become Rs 50.89 lakh. According to the company, its delivery to customers will start from July 2026. At the same time, Tesla has discontinued its Model Y Long Range Premium RWD variant, which was earlier priced at Rs 67.89 lakh.

500KM range and strong performance
Tesla Model Y Premium RWD is capable of delivering a WLTP certified range of up to 500 kilometers on a single charge. The company has used ultra-responsive electric motors in it, with the help of which this SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 5.9 seconds.

Large storage and premium cabin
Tesla Model Y Premium has up to 2,138 liters of storage space. It has been provided with power-folding seats, through which the luggage space can be increased as per requirement. The SUV offers seating for five passengers and its cabin comes with a premium and futuristic design.

Top Safety Rating
According to the company, Model Y has received top safety ratings from many major safety agencies of the world. These include organizations like NHTSA, IIHS, Euro NCAP, ANCAP and C-IASI. Tesla claims that this SUV sets new standards in terms of safety, performance and advanced technology.

Easy EMI and down payment
Tesla is also offering easy financing options for customers. According to the company, Model Y Premium RWD can be purchased with a down payment of only Rs 6 lakh. Its EMI starts from Rs 39,990 per month. Tesla says that due to lower fuel and maintenance costs, customers can save up to Rs 20,000 every month.
