The Scotland national team is set to host Curaçao in an international friendly match between the two nations this evening.

The kickoff for the Scotland vs Curaçao match is scheduled for 7:00 PM WIB on Saturday, 30 May 2026.

The two sides, Scotland and Curaçao, will face off at Hampden Park on Saturday night.

Although this is merely a friendly encounter, both teams will certainly look to head to North America with one or two wins under their belt.

After all, this tournament marks Scotland’s first World Cup appearance since 1998, while it will be Curaçao’s debut on football’s biggest stage.

Unsurprisingly, this will be the first time Scotland and Curaçao face each other on the international stage.

Their defensive record was outstanding throughout these fixtures, conceding only five goals in ten matches.

Despite their excellent qualifying campaign, the Caribbean side struggled in their most recent international friendlies, losing heavily to China and Australia — the latter inflicting a 5-1 defeat on Curaçao.

Although Scotland won all three of their World Cup qualifying matches at Hampden Park, their record in home friendlies has been less impressive in recent years.

In fact, they have lost three of their last four home friendly games, falling to Finland, Iceland, and Japan.

Considering the importance of both teams’ World Cup journeys, it’s unlikely that many players will push themselves too hard in this fixture.

Nonetheless, while Curaçao’s qualification story is truly remarkable, they are expected to fall short against Scotland, who produced some eye-catching wins during qualification.

With home advantage on their side — and given that this will be a rare trip to Europe for Curaçao — the Tartan Army are widely tipped to secure a comfortable victory.
