Shiv Sena MLA Santosh Bangar said that the current ministers of the party in the Maharashtra government have become old and the party should give a chance to young leaders. He said that if Eknath Shindo is to be made the Chief Minister again in 2029, then this will have to be implemented first. He claimed that the party will not achieve success without emphasizing on youth leadership.
Santosh Bangar is the MLA from Kalamanuri assembly seat. He said this when ‘Shiv Samvad’ Yatra was being taken out under the leadership of party MP Shrikant Shinde on Thursday. He appealed to the top leadership of the party to take the youth forward.
Santosh Bangar said in front of Shrikant Shinde that the present minister does not answer phone calls. Earlier, he had made a similar complaint in Nanded also. Without taking anyone’s name, he spoke a lot of harsh words.
Will the game deteriorate in Maharashtra?
Shiv Sena, led by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Bharatiya Janata Party and Nationalist Congress Party are the constituents of the state’s ruling Mahayuti alliance. Eknath Shinde became chief minister in 2022 after leading a rebellion against the undivided Shiv Sena leadership. Now once again his supporters want Shinde to become the Chief Minister. After the 2024 assembly elections, Shinde became the Deputy Chief Minister, while Devendra Fadnavis got the post of Chief Minister. Shiv Sena has 57 MLAs in the total 288-member Maharashtra Assembly.
