Tata Motors, in addition to the launch of the new Tiago ICE and iCNG facelifts, has also officially launched the new 2026 Tata Tiago.ev facelift in India. The updated electric hatchback, like the standard model, has been given a completely new exterior and interior design with a lot more features than before. It has been launched with a starting price of Rs 9.69 lakh. Tata Motors is also offering the Tiago.ev with Battery As A Service program and with BaaS its price starts at Rs 4.69 lakh.

The Tiago.ev facelift has been launched with a price tag of Rs 9.69 lakh for the 19.2 kWh battery pack Smart variant. Then there is the Pure+ variant with the same battery pack at Rs 8.49 lakh. The Pure+ variant is also offered with the 24 kWh battery pack which is priced at Rs 9.49 lakh and the Creative+ variant with the same battery pack is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh.
Coming to the changes on the outside of the new Tiago.ev, this hatchback has been given a much cleaner and sharper appearance compared to the outgoing model. The front end gets a body-coloured closed-off grille, which gives it a more futuristic appeal. The hatchback now also gets newly designed LED headlamps with integrated eyebrow-style LED DRLs.

Tata Motors has also redesigned the front bumper, and it now features sharper elements which make the Tiago.ev look much more modern and premium. Moving a bit lower on the front fascia, we get a newly designed front bumper which also houses the front camera for the new 360-degree camera system.
On the side profile, the overall silhouette remains unchanged. However, Tata has added a new set of 15-inch aero-style alloy wheels which, as per the company, help in improving aerodynamic efficiency. The updated Tiago.ev also gets gloss black ORVMs, black wheel arch cladding, shark fin antenna, and Tata.ev badging on the front doors.

Additionally, cameras have now been integrated into the ORVMs for the 360-degree camera system. At the rear, Tata Motors has given the new Tiago.ev a new LED taillamp setup which is joined together by a gloss black strip that runs across the tailgate. Tata has also redesigned the rear bumper, which now looks more premium.

Moving inside the cabin, the 2026 Tata Tiago.ev facelift gets a heavily revised dashboard layout with a more layered and premium design. The hatchback continues to get a dual-tone cabin theme. However, Tata has now added a new Fabricia Luxe dashboard, which features lighter upholstery materials to improve the overall premium feel inside the cabin.

The upper section of the dashboard now gets light-coloured fabric upholstery, meanwhile the lower half is finished in a darker grey shade. One of the biggest highlights of the new Tiago.ev cabin is the addition of dual free-standing screens. It now gets a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with a sleek, fully digital instrument cluster.
The hatchback also gets Tata Motors’ newer two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata.ev logo. The steering wheel also gets mounted controls for infotainment and cruise control functions. Other updates include redesigned window switches, push-button start-stop, and auto-folding ORVMs.

In terms of features, the updated Tiago.ev now comes equipped with a 360-degree camera system, rear AC vents, rear charging ports, wireless phone charger, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a 6-speaker audio system. Tata Motors has also redesigned the centre console layout to make the cabin look cleaner and more modern.
Under the infotainment screen, the hatchback gets horizontally positioned AC vents along with buttons for hazard lights, regenerative braking modes, and other functions. However, the physical climate control buttons and rotary dials have been retained from the previous model.
The new Tata Tiago.ev facelift is also based on the New X Alfa Architecture, like the standard Tiago and iCNG versions. This platform has been given additional strength, and the hatchback also gets 6 airbags as standard, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill hold assist, rear parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ISOFIX child seat anchors, and the newly added 360-degree camera setup.

It was earlier reported that Tata Motors could introduce a bigger 30 kWh battery pack. However, this is not the case, and it is continuing to offer the same battery pack options as the previous model. The first is the 19.2 kWh battery pack, which offers a claimed MIDC range of 223 km. Meanwhile, the larger 24 kWh battery pack delivers a claimed range of 293 km on a single full charge.
The medium-range version continues to produce 62 PS and 110 Nm of torque, while the long-range version produces 75 PS and 114 Nm of torque. Tata Motors has announced that it has improved the charging speed of the Tiago.ev, and the cooling and heat management systems have been improved as well. The Tiago.ev can be charged using a 30 kW DC fast charger, 7.2 kW wall box charger, and 3.3 kW portable charger. Tata Motors is now also giving lifetime warranty on the battery packs to first owner.
