Friends, the Uttar Pradesh government is ready to honor the brilliant students of its state who have scored good marks in the UP Board. To promote academic excellence and motivate the students across the state, the government has completed preparations for special felicitation ceremonies at both the state and district levels.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will honor meritorious students of high school and intermediate level during a grand state-level function. A total of 223 talented students from UP Board, CBSE, CISCE and Sanskrit Board will be honored for their exceptional academic performance.

Students honored include:
115 students are from high school merit list
23 students are from intermediate merit list
21 students are from Sanskrit board
33 students are from CISCE board
31 students are from CBSE board
District-level felicitation programs across Uttar Pradesh
Along with the state-level ceremonies, felicitation ceremonies will also be organized in all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
At district level:
Students who secure top 10 positions in the merit list of UP Board will be honored.
687 high school students and 772 intermediate students will be honored
A total of 1,459 students will be honored
These students will receive the following awards:

The government’s objective behind these initiatives is to motivate students to perform better in studies and promote a culture of educational excellence across the state.
Special emphasis on study habits in schools
The Basic Education Department has also directed schools to promote reading habits among students. Now a special ‘reading hour’ will be implemented in primary and upper-primary schools.
