Samar Qadri had told in an interview that he first heard about Vaibhav Suryavanshi when he was just 11-12 years old. After this, both of them faced each other in a local match in Patna, where Vaibhav scored a brilliant century in about 50 balls.

In this match, Vaibhav not only batted brilliantly but also scored a lot of runs on the balls of Samar Qadri. After this performance, Qadri realized that this player was not normal.

Samar Qadri told that when Vaibhav was called for the trials of Rajasthan Royals, he showed his talent in the very first over. Vaibhav hit 3 consecutive sixes on the first 3 balls of the trials, which surprised all the coaches and scouts present there. After this he was immediately included in the selection process and gradually he became a part of the Rajasthan Royals plans.

Due to his excellent performance in trials and domestic cricket, Vaibhav Suryavanshi also got a place in Bihar’s Ranji team. After this, High Performance Director of Rajasthan Royals Zubin Bharucha also got information about him and he was given further opportunity. After this, Vaibhav surprised everyone with his performance in the IPL and made his own identity in the cricket world at a very young age.
