A migrant domestic helper was filmed standing on a ledge outside a 24th-floor apartment building in Singapore to clean windows.
The incident allegedly took place at about 10 a.m. on May 14 at the Lentor Modern apartment complex, local outlet Stomp reported.

Photos and video show the woman balancing on a narrow ledge outside the building while using a long-handled wiper to clean the exterior windows.
The footage was reportedly first shared by a resident in a group chat. “I was shocked when I saw this and worried for the helper,” they said.
The country’s Ministry of Manpower said it is aware of the incident and is currently “investigating the matter,” according to the Straits Times. The ministry also reminded that employers are responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of their domestic helpers at all times.
Under Singapore’s Employment of Foreign Manpower Act, employers of migrant domestic workers are required to provide safe working conditions. Those who fail to comply can be fined up to S$10,000 (US$7,800), jailed for up to 12 months, or both. They may also be prohibited from additional hiring migrant domestic workers.
