You don’t need much time or much effort to make Mathri. You can prepare this dish from a wide variety of ingredients. The main thing is that this mathri made once can be stored for a month.   • To make mathri, first of all, add semolina and half a cup of sugar in a bowl and mix.
  • Now add 5-6 cashews and 2 pieces of cardamom.
  • Now add all the ingredients in a mixer bowl and grind it finely.

  • Along with this, add two teaspoons of ghee and 1/4 cup of milk and knead the dough.
  • Once the dough is well kneaded, keep it covered for 15 minutes.
  • Make small balls of the kneaded dough and roll it like a puri to form a mathri.

  • Now keep a kadai on the gas and keep heating the oil in it.
  • When the oil is hot, reduce the flame to medium and deep fry all the butter in the oil to a nice crisp.
