Preparation of new strategy after Lok Sabha elections

In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP suffered some losses in Uttar Pradesh. Analysts believe that the defeat in some seats was due to the opposition’s PDA (Backward, Dalit, Minority) formula and internal differences within the BJP. Against this backdrop, BJP and Sangh are believed to be working on a new strategy. There is talk that efforts are being made at the organizational level to create more influence, especially in the backward and Dalit communities.

RSS has always played an important role in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. From the Ram Mandir agitation in the 1980s and 1990s to the 2017 and 2022 assembly elections, Sangh workers are believed to have done effective work at the booth level. This is why Bhagwat’s visit is being seen not only as an organizational event, but also as part of the upcoming political strategy.
