Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in Uttar Pradesh is struggling to regain its lost legacy. She is once again working on the social engineering formula of 2007. Mayawati told the officials of Uttarakhand that BSP does not do politics on the basis of money power of capitalists and rich. He said, ‘BSP or its government does not follow their instructions. Therefore, by organizing small meetings in the state, work to connect the poor of the general category with the Dalits, tribals and extremely backward people. Tell them about the policies of BSP. How BSP does politics of welfare of all the people and happiness of all the people. With the arrival of BSP, new districts and tehsils will be established in Uttarakhand state.

BSP had won 2 seats in Uttarakhand in 2022

In the 2022 assembly elections, BSP had won only one seat in UP, whereas in Uttarakhand, the party surprised other parties by winning Mangalore and Laksar assembly seats. BSP had won 13 seats in Uttarakhand in the year 2002.

In the years 2007 and 2012, BSP had won three assembly seats each. The party could not open its account in the 2017 assembly elections, but after winning 2 seats in the 2022 assembly, the hope of regaining the lost legacy in BSP was awakened.
